  • County agenda includes Syracuse law enforcement, selling Duffs and indigent burial

  • Otoe County commissioners are scheduled to meet on Tuesday, March 26, on topics including indigent burial policy, selling the Duff mansion property and Syracuse law enforcement contract.

    Commissioners will meet at the board of equalization at 8:25 a.m., followed by sludge application requests, plats of the V&J subdivision and Oehlerking subdivision and county burial policy.

  • Otoe County commissioners are scheduled to meet on Tuesday, March 26, on topics including indigent burial policy, selling the Duff mansion property and Syracuse law enforcement contract.
    Commissioners will meet at the board of equalization at 8:25 a.m., followed by sludge application requests, plats of the V&J subdivision and Oehlerking subdivision and county burial policy.
    At 9 a.m., the board will hold a public hearing regarding the sale of the Dufff mansion and county-owned nursing home.
    At 9:05 a.m., county road and bridge matters will be heard.
    Also on the agenda is permission to observe the National Day of Prayer on the courthouse steps, interlocal agreement for law enforcement in Syracuse, the repair of a leased truck, deliquent tax sale and an executive session to discuss personnel matters.
