  • Bobcats baseball to play at Culver-Stockton

  • The Peru State baseball team, 8-9 overall and 2-2 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, is scheduled to play a road doubleheader at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday at Culver-Stockton before returning home for 1 and 3 p.m. games on Tuesday at Peru.

  • The Peru State baseball team, 8-9 overall and 2-2 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, is scheduled to play a road doubleheader at 1 and 3 p.m. Saturday at Culver-Stockton before returning home for 1 and 3 p.m. games on Tuesday at Peru.
    Series records this season for the Bobcats are as follows: Oklahoma Baptist, 1-2; Northwest Iowa, 0-2; Dakota Wesleyan, 1-1; Morningside of Iowa, 1-1; Malone University, 1-1; Graceland of Iowa, 2-0; Manhattan Christian, 2-0; and Evangel, 0-2.
    Statistical leaders thus far are Ryan Grabowski of Omaha, 12 hits; Randy Santiesteban of Hialeah, Fla., 21 RBI; Tyler Cherin of West Seattle, Wash., five stolen bases; Marshall Klontz of Auburn, Wash., 4.76 ERA and five-plus strikeouts per pitching outing.
