Otoe County reports 23 slide-offs due to snow and ice

Sunday's snowfall accumulated to only a few inches and did not close schools on Monday, but it proved to be the most dangerous for local roadways.

The Otoe County Sheriff's Office reports 21 "slide offs" caused by snow and ice. This compares to a report of about five cars off the roadway following the eight-inch snow storm on Feb. 21.
