  • The investigation into the hit and run death of Barbara Bolen the evening of Feb. 27 east of Auburn on Highway 136 has yielded some specific information regarding the vehicle being sought.

  • The investigation into the hit and run death of Barbara Bolen the evening of Feb. 27  east of Auburn on Highway 136 has yielded some specific information regarding the vehicle being sought.
    The vehicle is a silver or light gray colored Kenworth truck model T-800 or similar. It would have damage to the passenger side front of the vehicle around the fender and headlight.
    The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who has seen a truck matching this description to call them or the State Patrol. Anyone who has seen a truck with the described damage, or a truck of that type that has been absent from its normal place and is either still absent or has returned with repairs to the right front are asked to call.
    Several individuals have come forth with possible leads, which have been investigated, but none of the trucks investigated is the suspect vehicle.
