  • Area law enforcement and emergency services personnel, along with members of the public, paid tribute to Lincoln Police Officer John Clarke.
Officers and the public paid respects as Clarke's funeral procession traveled from Lincoln to a cemetery near Brock today.
Clarke, 43, of Auburn, was a dog handler with the Lincoln Police, said Otoe County Chief Deputy Mike Holland.
Although Holland said he did not know Clarke personally, they shared many mutual friends who spoke highly of him.
Clarke died suddenly after collapsing following an off duty work out.
He was a 21-year veteran police officer.
