    First round action in the ranks of Class B features a match up of Eastern Midlands Conference teams as No. 4 Gretna, 22-3, will do battle with No. 5 Norris, 17-6, at 10:45 a.m. at the Pershing Auditorium. Nebraska City is a member of the EMC.
    Other first round match ups in Class B are No. 1 Beatrice, 19-2, taking on No. 8 South Sioux City, 16-8; No. 2 Seward, 22-3, taking on No. 7 Holdrege, 18-6; and No. 3 Northwest, 22-3, taking on No. 6 McCook, 21-4.
    Turning to the Class C1 bracket, a pair of Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca foes will be in action. Capitol Conference member and No. 6 seed Wahoo, 16-9, will take on No. 3 Filmore Central, 24-2, at 3:45 p.m. at Pershing Auditorium. S-D-A is a member of the Capitol Conference.
    Another team on the Rockets’ schedule this year is No. 8 seed Lincoln Christian, 17-9, which will be taking on No. 1 Chadron, 22-2, at 7 p.m. at Pershing Auditorium.
    Other first round match ups in Class C1 are No. 2 Kearney Catholic, 24-2, taking on No. 7 Norfolk Catholic, 15-9; and No. 4 Minden, 19-4, taking on No. 5 Pierce, 20-4.
    The Pioneer Conference will be represented by Friend in the Class D1 bracket and Falls City Sacred Heart in the Class D-2 bracket. Lourdes is a member of the Pioneer Conference.
    Friend, 20-3, is the No. 3 seed in the D1 bracket and will be taking on No. 6 Emerson-Hubbard, 17-6, at 3:45 p.m. at Lincoln Northeast.
    Other first round match ups in Class D1 are No. 1 Guardian Angels Catholic, 22-3, taking on No. 8 Arapahoe, 22-5; No. 2 Pender, 22-3, taking on No. 7 Palmer, 17-6; and No. 4 St. Mary, 22-2, taking on No. 5 Sutherland, 20-5.
    Falls City Sacred Heart, 23-4, is the No. 1 seed in the D-2 bracket and will be taking on No. 8 Sandhills/Thedford, 20-6, at 9 a.m. at Lincoln Northeast.
    Other first round match ups in the Class D2 bracket are No. 2 Lindsey Holy Family, 24-1, taking on No. 7 Wauneta-Palisade, 18-6; No. 3 Wynot, 22-4, taking on No. 6 Giltner, 19-6; and No. 4 Osmond, 17-2, taking on No. 5 Deshler, 23-3.
    The Class B semifinals will be at 7 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Friday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The third place game will be at 12 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln Northeast and the championship final will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
    The Class C1 semifinals will be at 2 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Friday at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. The third place game will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lincoln Northeast and the championship finals will be at 4:30 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
    The Class D1 semifinals will be at 7 p.m. at 8:45 p.m. Friday at the Pershing Auditorium. The third place game will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lincoln East and the championship finals will be at 8:30 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
