Johnny Rodgers and Tommie Frazier signed autographs Saturday as part of the grand opening celebration at Anytime Fitness in Nebraska City.
Rodgers, nicknamed Johnny the Jet, won the Heisman trophy in 1972 after helping Nebraska win its second national title.
Frazier, who led Nebraska to national championships in 1994 and 1995, was selected in 1999 to Sports Illustrated all-century team.
Also attending were Captain Running Man, his heroine friend Xpressa and Anytime Fitness trainer and bikini model Stephanie Broders.
Roger Aaron opened his 13th Anytime Fitness franchise at Nebraska City on Feb. 1 saying the community had a need for a 24-hour, adult only facility.
He said Nebraska City is a good sized-town for the neighborhood-style gym.
