Linda S. Johnson, 63, of Nebraska City died Feb. 15, 2013 at The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. She was born on July 17, 1949 at Nebraska City to Paul E. Sr. and Marie A. (Allen) Stoll. She graduated from Nebraska City High School in 1967.
She married Charles “Chuck” Johnson and they made their home in Nebraska City and worked together at the Nebraska City News-Press for many years.
In addition to working at the News-Press for many years, Linda also worked at Culligan Water Conditioning.
She is survived by mother Marie A. Stoll of Nebraska City; brother Lenis Grauf and wife Sharon of Plattsmouth; sisters-in-law Theresa Stoll of Omaha and Georgette Stoll of Nebraska City; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family and many friends.
She was preceded by her husband, Chuck Johnson; father Paul E. Stoll, Sr. and brothers Paul E. Stoll, Jr. and Brian J. Stoll.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Nebraska City. Fr. Michael McCabe will celebrate the Mass and burial will follow in Wyuka Cemetery at Nebraska City.
The family will greet friends from 6-7 p.m. Tuesday at Gude Mortuary followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m.
A memorial fund is being established in Linda’s memory.
