    The agenda includes an announcement from Bill Davis, who has been city attorney for 43 years.
    A proposed job description for the position requires the city attorney to represent the city in legal matters and meet with administration, police, building and zoning and other departments "to gain favorable judicial support and rulings."
    The attorney provides legal counsel for the airport authority, Nebraska City Housing Authority, Nebraska City Community Development Agency, Dock Board, Board of Public Works and Civil Service Commission.

    • Assists city in defense of claims
    • Attends city council and planning commission meetings
    • Prepares legal documents

    • Provides legal council
