The City of Nebraska City has declared a snow emergency starting tonight, Jan. 30 at 10 p.m.
All vehicles should be off the designated streets starting at 9 pm. All City parking lots have been cleared and are available for parking.
This snow emergency will last until 6 a.m. on Thursday, Jan 31.
Six inches of snow fell at Nebraska City this morning, closing schools and putting snowplows to work for the second major snow event this winter.
