Investigators say Otoe man threatened house guest with shotgun

Investigators say 61-year-old Bryon Armstrong threatened a woman with a shotgun at his Otoe residence Jan. 24.

Armstrong did not give a statement to investigators regarding the incident, but Chief Deputy Mike Holland said Armstrong had recently lost his girlfriend to cancer and argued Jan. 24 with her daughter who had been staying at the house.
"Emotions had been running high inside the household," Holland said.
