Inmates donate to Hurricane Sandy relief

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services Jan. 11 today that a check in the amount of $984 has been sent of the American Red Cross to provide relief to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

This money was generated after the Department received numerous inmate requests to help the victims. Nearly 50 inmate donations were received and ranged from $1.00 to $105.
