Nancy Lee Temple, 60, of Nebraska City died at St. Mary's Community Hospital in Nebraska City Dec. 20, 2012. She was born Oct. 16, 1952 in Grand Island to Darold and Jacqueline (Menck-Burnett) Urwiller.
She attended Grand Island Senior High and moved to Lincoln in 1970 to be close to her sister. She married, had three sons and worked at Shoemakers Texaco Truck Stop as a bookkeeper and later at Boston Market.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Sean and Wynee Wulf of Nebraska City, James and Shannan Wulf of Lincoln, and Chris Wulf of Lincoln; mother Jacqueline Burnett; sister Susan and husband Jerry Wurtele; and five grandchildren, Taylor Brethouwer, Ian Wulf, Kailyn Wulf, Zayne Wulf and Nova Rose Wulf.
A back surgery and many health issues when she was young left her unable to do many things that she wanted to do. She was proud of and loved her boys and grandchildren very much. In her earlier years, she enjoyed yardwork, gardening and antiquing. Her friends helped her to do her yardwork, gardening and household chores.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at the First United Methodist Church in Nebraska City with Pastor Dr. Charles Kathurima officiating. Luncheon will follow the service. Burial will be in Grand Island.
