Nebraska traffic toll for November

   During the month of November 2012, twelve persons were killed in traffic crashes on Nebraska roadways, according to data collected by the Nebraska Department of Roads.

¨             These 12 fatalities occurred in 11 crashes

¨          Eleven of the 12 vehicle occupants killed were not using safety belts

¨             Two fatalities occurred on the Interstate, three happened on non-Interstate highways, and

seven took place on local roads

¨             Nine of the fatalities occurred in rural locations

¨             One of the fatalities was a collision with an animal
