Wrestling teams from Nebraska City and Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca High School will compete in the invitation-only Flat Water Fracus in Grand Island on Friday and Saturday.

Wrestling teams from Nebraska City and Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca High School will compete in the invitation-only Flat Water Fracus in Grand Island on Friday and Saturday.

The event is a dual tournament with teams competing in pools.

Nebraska City will compete in pool five. Other teams in pool five are St. Paul, North Platte and Papio-LaVista South. Dual times on Friday for the Pioneers will be 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Based off those results, the Pioneers will wrestle again at either 6 or 7:30 p.m.

Saturday's wrestling will be based off of those results with action getting under way at 10:30 a.m.

Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca will be wrestling in pool eight. Other teams in pool eight are Lincoln Southeast, Hastings and Bellevue East.
The Rockets will compete at 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Based off those results, the Rockets will wrestle again at either 6 or 7:30 p.m.

Saturday's wrestling will be based off of those results with action getting under way at 10:30 a.m.

Pool 2: Cheyenne East, Gothenburg, Northwest and Papio-LaVista.

Pool 3: Manhattan, Blair, Adams Central and Kearney.

Pool 4: Lincoln Southwest, Doniphan-Trumbull, Weld Central and Aurora.

Pool 6: Omaha Burke, Lincoln North Star, Grand Island Central Catholic, and Central City.

Pool 7: Grand Island Senior, Ralston Valley, Bennington and Norfolk.
