Woman hit in mid-block crossing on Central Avenue

Nebraska City Emergency Medical Services responded to a pedestrian accident on Central Avenue east of Seventh Street at 5:05 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Carolyn Coates, 69, was crossing Central Avenue at mid-block. She told police she was hit after stepping out into the roadway, wash pushed into a parked van and knocked to the ground.
