Edna Parker, 103, of Syracuse, died Dec. 6, 2012 at the Syracuse Care Center. She was born May 18, 1909, in Cambridge, Neb., to Harry and Mollie (Walker) Heather.
Edna married Chester Parker Oct. 20, 1926, in Syracuse.
She was a member of United Methodist Women and served in all offices, Otoe County Farm Bureau Office for 11 years, A.S.C.S. Office for six years, Park Hill Cemetery Secretary / Treasurer for 25 years, Four Corner Extension Club 60 years, Bible Study held in her home for 35 years.
Edna is survived by her daughters Lorraine Seyersdahl, of Lincoln and Lola Jean Davison of Syracuse; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 27 great-great grandchildren; brother Delbert Heather of Nebraska City; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded by sister Thelma Barnes, husband Chester in 1960, daughter Vivan Kreifels, grandson Gary Seyersdahl, granddaughter Joan Kreifels, sons-in-law Marvin Davison, Richard Seyersdahl and Henry Kreifels; grandson Donald Kreifels; granddaughter Mary Smalley; and grandson-in-law Bill Gesch.
Pallbearers were Eldon Seyersdahl, Scott Kreifels, Christopher Kreifels, Kevin Rohlfs, Lane Rohlfs, David Fox, Brian Seyersdahl and Wayne Schmidt.
Honorary pallbearers were the great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Edna Parker are Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church, Syracuse, with burial at Park Hill Cemetery.
Family suggests memorials to the Syracuse United Methodist Church.
