Duane E. Earl, 83, of Kimberling City, Mo., died at home Nov. 23, 2012. The son of Edward and Ella (Neemann) Earl was born on July 6, 1929 in Nebraska City.
Duane had lived in the Kimberling City area for the past 20 years, coming from Kansas City, Mo. He served in the US Air Force, was a retired Federal Aviation administrator and was a member of First Christian Church, Kimberling City.
He was preceded in death by brother Richard Earl.
Survivors include nephew Lonnie Neeman and wife Lori of Nebraska City; sister in-law Doris Earl of Mulvane, Kan.; sister Karen S. Kilby of Lincoln; two nieces, Janelle Lacy and husband David of Nebraska City and Connie Ehlers and husband Clint of Nebraska City; six great nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, in First Christian Church, Kimberling City, with Jerry Jenkins officiating, under the direction of Stumpff Funeral Homes.
Local services will be held at Gude Mortuary at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 29 with Rev. Rodger Good officiating. Burial will follow in Wyuka Cemetery at Nebraska City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Christian Church in Kimberling City.
