Buttry family offers statement regarding soldier killed in Afghanistan

The family of Pfc. Brandon L. Buttry, 19, issued a statement prior to visitation today in Shenandoah at the First Baptist Church, where funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15.

Buttry, assigned to the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, died Nov. 5 in Kandahar province in Afghanistan.
