Recount scheduled for Otoe village board write-ins

A Nov. 15 recount is scheduled to determine a winner of the write-in campaigns for Otoe village board.

There were three open seats on the board, but no candidates. Voters wrote in over 30 names and the top two were Ralph Edwards with 28 votes and Peggy Boldt with 12.

There is a tie for the third seat with 10 votes each.
