  • The divisional races in the Big 10 will continue to take shape this week as Nebraska will play at home against Penn State while Indiana hosts Wisconsin.
Nebraska escaped East Lansing, Mich., with a win last week and remains in control of the Legends Division race. The Huskers are three winnable games away from punching their ticket to the conference championship game. It could be argued that Penn State is the toughest of the three remaining. The Huskers and Nitany Lions will kick off their game at 2:30 p.m.
Other teams in the division, Michigan, Iowa and Northwestern, remain alive. The Wolverines need to win out and hope for a Husker loss in order to win the division. Northwestern and Iowa would need other help.
In the Leaders Division, the only two teams capable of winning their way to the conference championship are playing this week. Indiana got a big win last week against Iowa and would put themselves in a very good position this week with a win over Wisconsin.
Indiana could even its conference record, tie the Badgers for the division lead, and earn a tie breaker. And Wisconsin faces a tough test next week against Ohio State.
A win by Wisconsin would give the Badgers would almost assure a division title as it would put Wisconsin two games and a tie breaker ahead with three to play.
Indiana kicks off against Wisconsin at 11 a.m.
