Rosalie (Hawk) Clark, 72, of Hamburg, died at home Oct. 23, 2012. She was born in Nishnabotna, Mo., on Dec. 18, 1939 to Ruben H. and Bessie Rosanna (Johnson) Hawk.
Rosalie attended school at Fairfax, Mo.
On May 24, 1958 she married Franklin E. Clark in Sidney. Rosalie worked at Mount Arbor and Henry Field nurseries. She also worked at Pamida and Walmart, both in Shenandoah.
She was preceded by brothers Richard, Roy and Elmer Hawk; sister Mildred Margaret “Dollie” Jackson; and nephews David Lee Hawk, Jerry Dean Kirk and Billy Hulett.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Frank, of their home; sons Franklin E. Jr., Hamburg, and Michael S. and wife Kimberly, Omaha; daughter Vickie Jo Clark, Hamburg; brother and sister-in-law Lawrence and Judy Hawk, Thurman; brother Harold “Stubby” Hawk; sister and brother-in-law Norma and Gary Hulett, Rock Port, Mo.; grandchildren Shelby and Jacob Clark, Omaha; nieces and nephews.
Rosalie enjoyed flower gardening, fishing and quilting and knitting.
Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27, at 11 a.m. at the High Creek Baptist Church in Watson, Mo. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services, at the church. Interment will be at the High Creek Cemetery.
