The Nebraska City volleyball team will close out its home schedule tonight with matches against Bennington High School. Freshman and junior varsity matches will take place at 5:30 p.m., while the varsity match is set for a 6:30 p.m. start.
Tuesday's match will be Nebraska City's third against the Badgers this year. The two teams faced off twice at the Omaha Skutt tournament. Bennington won the matches 2-0 and 2-1.
Bennington enters tonight with a season record of 8-14, while the Pioneers have a record of 6-16.
Nebraska City has just a few events on the schedule after tonight. The Pioneers will play at Blair on Oct. 16, travel to Beatrice for a triangular with the host and Lincoln Pius X on the Oct. 18, compete at the Norris Invite on Oct. 20 and travel to face Omaha Roncalli on Oct. 22.
