State association recognizes Nebraska City school board

Nebraska Association of School Boards has recognized Nebraska City Board of Education with its Outstanding Board Award.

The award recognizes board member's participation in association conferences and annual assembly.

The award will be announced this year at the State Education Conference, which is scheduled Nov. 14-16 at LaVista Conference Center.

Development activities recently sponsored by the association include a labor relations conference, school law seminar, membership meetings and legislative issues conferences.
