Lyndon Guy Tedrow, 78, of Nebraska City, died Sept. 14, 2012 at Bryan LGH East Medical Center in Lincoln. He was born on May 19, 1934 in Ringgold County, Iowa, to Guy and Lottie (Wood) Tedrow. He married Susan Anne Purdy on May 31, 1953 at Creston, Iowa.
Lyndon worked at various places including Ocoma Foods, American Meter Company, Meadow Gold, the Coca Cola Plant, Eagles, Dinty Moore’s and Morton Orchard. He was a long-time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #968 in Nebraska City and was a past worthy president.
He is survived by wife Susan Tedrow of Nebraska City; son Darrel Tedrow and wife Barb of Nebraska City; grandchildren Darrel Tedrow, Jr. and wife Kami, Mandy Tedrow and significant other Will Oden and Samantha Tedrow and significant other Lou Hunter; great-grandchildren: Izabella, Dakoda, Morganne and Gabby; sister Maxine Robinson of Clovis, Calif.; other family and many friends.
He was preceded by son Leslie Guy Tedrow in 1959 and sister Arlene Morgan.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City with Rev. Keith Hunt of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in the Wyuka Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the Gude Mortuary.
Memorials may be given to the family.
