Backyard Farmer, which airs at 7 p.m. on NET1, filmed its final episode of the 60th season in front of a live audience at Kimmel Orchard.
Host Kim Todd was joined by Jim Kalisch, University of Nebraska Extension entomologist; Lowell Sandell, extension weed science specialist; and extension educators Amy Timmerman and Sarah Browning.
Show segments at the Kimmel Education Research Center, featuring Connie Reimers-Hild and Vaughn Hammond, were filmed earlier.
There were 30 people in the live audience. The show was filmed outdoors on the lawn between the education center and the orchard.
