  • Ryan Ludlow rushed for three scores and 166 yards of offense to lead the Peru State football team past host Culver-Stockton by a score of 48-21 on Saturday.


    The Bobcats jumped out to a 21-7 lead at the end of the first quarter before expanding that lead to 34-7 at half and 48-7 by the start of the fourth quarter.

    Also scoring touchdowns for Peru State were Tyler Audsley and Bo Shepard.

    Sheppard, the Bobcats’ quarterback, threw for a 56-yard touchdown to Shane Lloyd. He finished 3-of-3 for 66 yards through the air.\


    Peru State, 2-1, will next play  on the road against Benedictine at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
