  •     Lucille M. Wesemann, 85, of Syracuse, formerly of Cook, died at Good Samari-tan Society on Aug. 3, 2012. She was born April 11, 1927 at Steinauer to Fred and Anna (Hothan) Baucke. She married William Wesemann  Dec. 14, 1957 at United Church of Christ, Maple Grove.

  •     Lucille M. Wesemann, 85, of Syracuse, formerly of Cook, died at Good Samari-tan Society on Aug. 3, 2012. She was born April 11, 1927 at Steinauer to Fred and Anna (Hothan) Baucke. She married William Wesemann  Dec. 14, 1957 at United Church of Christ, Maple Grove.
     
        She is survived by daughters Karen (Gary Sr.) Cheloha and Lori Wesemann, both of Lincoln; grandchildren Jennifer (Steve) Boothe, Gary (Michelle) Cheloha Jr., Amy Cheloha, Anne Cheloha, Ross Cheloha and Adam Cheloha; seven great grandchildren; sister-in-law Lorene (Dewey) Dahl; brother LaVerne Baucke; and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
     
        She was preceded by husband Bill, brother Kenneth Baucke, nephew Terry Rosenthal, brother-in-law Carl Wesemann, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Martin and Edna Rosenthal.
     
        She was a farmwife and and long-time school bus driver. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Cook, enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, crafts (especially ceramics), and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed cheering on her Atlanta Braves.
     
        Bill and Lucille were blessed with celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with all their family in December 2007.
     
        Funeral service is Monday, Aug. 6, at 10:30 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Cook, with Rev. Jim Helgren officiating. Burial is at Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
     
        Memorials are suggested to the family’s choice.
     
        Visitation is Sunday until 9 p.m. with family greeting from 5-7 p.m.
     
        Fusselman Allen Harvey Funeral Home, Syracuse, is in charge of arrangements.
