  • Lourdes garnered second and third place finishes during Tuesday action at the Johnson County Central Invitational track meet at Tecumseh High School.
    The Lourdes girls’ team scored 92 points to finish 13 points off the pace of invite champ Tri County.
    Other team results on the girls’ side were 3. Freeman, 73; 4. Lincoln Lutheran, 55; 5. Omaha Brownell-Talbot, 50; 6. Falls City Sacred Heart, 34; 7. Humboldt-TRS, 33; 8. Johnson County Central, 27.33; 9. Johnson-Brock, 20; 10. Conestoga, 15.33; 11. Weeping Water, 13.33; and 12. Lincoln Parkview, 9.
    The Lourdes boys’ team scored 58 points to finish one point off the second place pace of Johnson-Brock. Tri County won the boys’ side with 137.5 points.
    Other team results on the boys’ side were 4. Lincoln?Lutheran, 54.5; 5. Freeman, 50; 6. Falls City Sacred Heart, 47; 7. Johnson County Central, 43.5; 8. Conestoga, 21; 9. Humboldt-TRS, 20; 10. Lincoln Parkview, 15; 11. Omaha Brownell-Talbot, 11.5; 12. Lewiston, 7; and 13. Weeping Water, 3.
    Lourdes will return to action for the Lewiston Invite at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 10.
