Darlene Nesiba, 68, of Nebraska City, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at BryanLGH West Medical Center in Lincoln.


Darlene Nesiba, 68, of Nebraska City, died Monday, March
29, 2010 at BryanLGH West Medical Center in Lincoln. Darlene was born on Oct. 18, 1941 in Watson, Mo., the daughter of Cecil Raymond and Mamie Ella (Wooten) Price. 

    She attended school in Watson and Rock Port, Mo., and at Hamburg.  She married DeWayne A. Nesiba on March 12, 1960 in Hamburg.

    Darlene worked for many years at St. Mary’s Community Hospital and the Nebraska City Manor.

    She is survived by her husband, DeWayne Nesiba of Nebraska City; children
Michael Nesiba and wife Elizabeth of Henderson, Nev., Sue Ann Sellon and
husband Paul of Nebraska City, and David Nesiba of Nebraska City; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings Norma Cummings and
husband Chuck of Lincoln, Frances Cayton of Centralia, Mo., Kenneth Lee Price and wife Brenda of Burlington Junction, Mo., Carlene Roberts and husband Bob of Nebraska City, James Price and wife Rosalie of Lincoln, Dorothy Lucille Austin and husband Homer of Jonesboro, La., and Judy Kay Hatfield and husband Noel of Hamburg; sisters-in-law Carolyn of
Lincoln and Judy of Shenandoah, Iowa, and other family and friends.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Raymond Price,
Marvin Price, Larry Price, Melvin Price and Robert Price.

    Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 2, at Gude Mortuary in Nebraska City with Rev. John Duling officiating; burial will follow at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City.

    The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at the mortuary.

    Memorials may be given to the Nebraska City Garden of Hope Cancer Project.
